Our Response To Covid-19 Crisis 2021
We at IICBlr an NGO had scrambled our resources to fight the first wave in any way we could, With the likes of providing Rations, Daily Food packs to the poor. We also provided Oxygen Cylinders, Ambulance services, Covid Burial services, these services were all free of cost. We provided these services in Bangalore and its surrounding rural areas as well.
Never in our lifetime have we seen such a crisis unfold, with Healthcare of India stretched to its limit, We at IICBlr are stepping up its services. Home Care is and will become an integral part of fighting covid-19. Most of the cases can be treated at home, We at IICBlr are providing Free online Doctor Consultation and other services free of cost, But we are currently out of stock of oxygen cylinders. Due to this many of our patients are breathing their last and they are not able to get oxygen in time.
We are also in process of setting up a Covid Centre in RT Nagar by converting a school to 25 bed isolation ward.
Ration For Poor
IIC knew and was preparing for situation which would arise after lifting of lockdown, one among which was help in restarting of small businesses.
They are one among worst hit industries they include road-side stalls, Coconut stalls, any petty business.
As of May 30th we have many request to either give them loan or provide financial relief to kickstart thier businesses again.
Funds for IICBlr
Apart from many services we are currently running, IIC in itself needs funds to sustain its services. All our members are volunteers but we also have full time staff which we employee. We would need funds to continue our services.
Oxygen Cylinders
Due to increase in covi-19 Cases there is acute shortage of Oxygen cylinders and resources needed to fight against Covid-19. We at IICblr plan to acquire 100+ cylinders. Home care is and will become essential tool to covid-19 crisis. We are stepping up the services like Oxygen Cylinders, Medicines, Doctor Consultation etc. to minimse the need of hospital beds.
Covid Centre
We are currently working to setup a 25 bed Isolation Centre in a school which will cater to those who are in need of oxygen and Medical services. Along with Medical Team in VCare Hospital.
